Your blog sure is handy, haha.

I just priced it on eBay. For around five-ish dollars I can get it in good shape, albeit cart-only. I am more than willing to pay that (or more) for anything that can be considered a "spiritual successor" to Maniac Mansion.

Thanks for the tip :)

I'm watching one on eBay now. I was considering doing a "Buy it Now", but if I can wait five days and get it for 99 cents versus 7$, all the better.

I finally obtained the True Ending! :o and  Prepare yourself for hours upon hours of truly engaging dialog mixed with some of the most well-thought-out puzzles I've encountered. 999 is easily one of the best experiences I've had in gaming. Time to fire up the Vita for VLR!

So nice to see some 999 love here :D

I really enjoyed my playthroughs in 999. For a long time I thought I was the only one who found this game creepy at some points :p

VLR isn't released yet in Europe. I'll have to wait till 16 November...

999 was incredible! I got the "Sub" ending during my first play through and nearly threw my DS across the room and nearly gave up on getting the other endings. After I calmed down and decided to give the game a second chance, I picked up my DS and started playing again and got all the other endings. I can't wait to pick up VLR for the vita!

So, did 999 get reprinted with new cover art?

Yes, it did. I read about it in Nintendo Power (may it soon rest in peace :( ) They did it so that the new cover art would more closely link it to Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward.

Gotta say, I like the new art better. I wonder which will be worth more down the road?
