you are correct my friend.

The more I read this thread the more I realize that even though I've learned to appreciate the Pokemon series, I'm just not a fan honestly. I just may sell my boxed GBC Yellow Edition system...

@General, oh you're right! Gold/Silver looked like this:

I guess I was thinking of Crystal which is the only GBC Poke cart I've seen in real life. Like I said above, I'm not a fan of the series.

Anyway, I (we) stand corrected.

I remember playing the first three and gold/silver on my super gameboy. I was so pissed when I found out that crystal didnt work in it.

I can think of no better place to share with you all this masterpiece of a link...

http://bygonebureau.com/2011/01/10/drunk-pokemon/

The gist - Guy loves girl. Girl gets drunk. Girl has sex w/ pretentious douche with a law degree, a BMW, and probably a very small pee-pee. Guy gets mad. Guy gets drunk. Guy gets thrown out of bar.
But here's the selling point: This is all told through pokemon he drew while wasted..

Go. NOW.

I was really addicted to the games when they first came out. I even co-webmastered and created most of the content for a fan site (Pokemon Factory). I haven't played any of the newer ones but there was a few years where I was completely obsessed. I guess I was 17-19 at the time. I met a lot of smart people of all ages. A good game is a good game no matter what the exterior or target audience is. I tried playing Pokemon Yellow a few months back, but it didn't really do it for me. The pace was a bit too slow (Maybe I remember using the Fast Forward button on the emulator the last few times I played through the games while gathering content for the Pokedex on the site). I guess I should try LeafGreen or Black. I read that they're much improved.

I feel the same way. Im a big fan of the games. They are well made games throughout the main installments of the series. Im 22 and I've been playing since the old days but when I get into such a situation I get all psychological with those people and say that being mature is accepting responsability and all that jazz. That and its not like im a bum or anything. I work as a banker and I got my bachelors so I did what "society" told me to do. And iys just a freakin game no big fuss honestly. SO LET ME PLAY MA POKEMANZ!!!!!!
