Aren't those the guys from "Fucking magnets, how do they work"?
Yup. They were once shitty AND indie. Now they are just shitty.

Part 6 was pretty interesting. It managed to make me dislike Limp Dipshits more than I already did. I really don't miss the last 15 years of radio. I'll have to watch the rest of that Frontline tonight or during lunch.

Only in America could something this stupid and bad be successful. I wish people like this would have very unfortunate accidents happen to them. Am i the only one who thinks this is the bane of society?

Wait what? Who the **** is this? I'm an American and I've never heard of em.

EDIT: My ears, they bleed.

Brokencyde is some of the most terrible sounding music out there, but the #1 worst lyrics position is still held by Riskay for this song.

This crap reminds me every time I go visit friends in San Bernadino or Riverside.
This music and look has infected most of them and they just look like idiots.

I actually thought that one was sort of interesting when I heard it. Not great, but I've heard much worse. Some fine examples beign from this thread.

I won't knock these bands for creating what they believe is music, but I can only wonder if they sound to me nowadays what the Dead Kennedys and Minor Threat must have sounded like to my parents way back when. (Though my mom did like DK's song "Terminal Preppie")

My biggest problem with Brokencyde and the like is whoever is exploiting them. Sure, teens are going to be drawn to music glamorizing drinking, drugs, money, and sex, but filtering it thru some actual talent can result in listenable music. To me, Brokencyde and the like is the musical equivalent of randomly throwing paint at a wall and calling it art. Theres no challenge in selling booze and whoring to teenagers, whoever is behind these groups are taking advantage of that, and that shallowness is reflected in the product.

Getting fucked up and banging bitches IS fun, but it's irresponsible to shove a canned image down kid's throats at a time when developing your own unique personality is so crucial. And if you and your buddies want to make obnoxious screamy raps about it, great. But when it's crudely commercialized like this, it loses all legitimacy.
