Yeah, that Pentastar V6 looks to be pretty bulletproof. I'm glad to see Chrysler engineering back on track. My R/T is a daily driver with 18000 miles and only had one small issue which was fixed and wasn't engine related, 'Wrong lubrication on the input shaft bearing'. But I can totally understand not wanting to buy a car like this with 25000 on the ticker, I wouldn't either. It loves to do burnouts!Jrecee wrote:I have looked around at the R/T prices in the past and was surprised at some of them. I considered it on and off, but when it came down to it, I'd be buying more car than I wanted/needed just because it was a good deal, and I really don't want to buy used. Maybe that's illogical or psychological, but I've been wanting a challenger since the concept was unveiled in 2006, so I really need(want) a brand new car with that awesome cancer causing new car smell. Plus I've read about reliability issues with the R/Ts so that combined with the way a 375hp car might have been driven over its 25,000 miles kind of scares me.
Maybe I should change my avatar to a toxic orange challenger SE instead. . .

Yeah. I remember your original post on that car when you bought it. The new Challenger's are tits - I love 'em!corn619 wrote:Shes not a 1970, but damn did Dodge get this one right. Damn, I love my Challenger. Currently clocking in at around 430HP, once the Magnacharger is in, this car is going to screw. Though I'm thinking about putting the supercharger on hold and buying a 1968 Chevelle SS. The prices are right these days with the economy and winter approaching.
Gotta love the GTO, the original muscle car!EvilRyu2099 wrote:
Pontiac GTO FTW!!!!
Also where are the Impala's.... Maybe not actually a muscle car... But that sucker ran on 7.4 L V8 Turbo Jet engine in the 70s!!!
Edit: BTW RIP Pontiac... They just went under a couple of weeks ago...
