yea i hear the ps3 mk2 is closes to the arcade ports, but yea i did notice few bugs too. Hopefully this new release will be arcade perfect.

As far as them calling it "arcade-perfect" releases, I doubt they'll be 100% accurate (maybe I'm just trying not to get my hopes up). MKII on PSN is fantastic, but it has some minor flaws that really bug the hell out of me like the sound glitch problem when you knock some one in the pit. We'll see.

There's actually a few minor bugs, but at least they're VERY minor. As far as I can tell, the game plays identical to the arcade (though it's been years since I've played on an MKII cab). The Pit is the one that really annoys me though. Some times when time is running out in a match, the music will cut out. And I kinda remember a bug when you beat the game during the cast of characters. But again, at least there isn't any gameplay glitches.

I'm SUPER excited but slightly disappointed. I thought they were actually drawing new animations of everything like the Street Fighter HD Remix.

That would just be too expensive to produce. WB wants a quick buck. I don't blame them really. As long as we get the games its fine by me.

I agree. HD remakes would be sweet, but they wouldn't be $10 for sure. Since I don't own a 360, MKII on PSN is the only "arcade perfect" version I can have. Since I've downloaded MKII, I've been wishing to get the same quality for MK 1 and 3 on PSN. So I'm very stoked about this.

I would really love a physical release, but I'll take what I can get.

I'm not sure of the specs of MKII on PSN, but it looks amazing on my 720p HDTV via HDMI. I would assume the Kollection would be at least up to par with the previous MKII release.

Okay so they announced that the Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection will be out on August 31st. It's not a remake like some of us had previously thought. but its only 800 ms points for all 3 in one game sooo ill be getting it

I heard this compilation doesn't support widescreen, just native 4:3. Let's hope it's just a rumor
