Yeah. Losing some of those 70 or 80 hour grinding saves would break my heart.

What is dumber? Losing all your collection in a non-climate-control storage shed or telling the whole world how dumb you are?

Worthy of a Jerry Springer show.

Really terrible. I mean, it wasn't a great idea, but I can't help feeling sorry for him. I should point out that this is the reason I would never have a game room in a basement. Sure, many basements are safe and dry, but as for myself, I wouldn't chance it. Nothing is fool proof, and in the end, we are talking about stuff. Sure we love games, but it is a hobby. Nice to see he is moving on, maybe to build again.

I used to be weary of storing my games in the basement, even though it is furnished there water still leaked in whenever it rained. However, Im pretty sure my basement is safe now, because my dad had a new french drain installed, and The water main under the street has been replaced (a few years ago it leaked and absolutely ruined 4 houses next to mine

So, I'm even more afraid of storing games at my other house, because I am afraid of an electrical fire starting in my room.

I mean, I don't have anything turbo-rare, but It would still be pretty devastating.

I love how you are afraid of fire for your games and not your life/house. Man us gamers have fucked up priorities in life.

My house is shit and It was given away to my grandmother, we would make money if it caught on fire. And, I would be able to escape just fine from my room. The only other problem is that my Snake, Fish, Hermit Crabs, and Parrot would all get roasted. :?

People do not eat Hermit Crabs, or my dirpy little neon tetras.
