Anyone here an old pro at Kai?

We're both either doing something horribly wrong or missing some really obvious setting to turn on.

i want to get in on this, but the problems are as follows:

1) I have a mac.
2) the only game i could play with you guys would be PS2 games, and the only online games i have currenty are THPS 3 & 4, and Virtual-On Marz (if it indeed does have some sort of LAN multiplayer option...). There's some online mode for MGS3 but i don't think it's multiplayer. I dunno.

but yeah, i'd be down if those things could be rectified. i'd gladly play tribes: aerial assault or GT4, assuming i can go pick them up.

I think I found out what the problem was. I asked on the Xlink forums, and they said I logged onto a broken server. They said that it will happen every now and then, and if it does, I should just keep trying to log on, and I will hopefully get on a working one eventually.

I'd definitely be up for some of this. My Xlink name is burningmice
Games I currently have that will work:
PSP
Monster Hunter Freedom Unite
Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness

Gamecube:
Kirby Air Ride

PS2:
Battlefield 2
Burnout Revenge
Gran Turismo 3
Jak X
Ratchet and Clank Up Your Arsenal
Socom
Socom 3

I think that's all.

I signed up just now. My name there is retrogamer76. Looks like I'm going to need a wired router. Can anyone suggest a certain brand and or model number. I'm looking to purchase a wired router only with no wirleless capabilities in order to keep everything simple, secure, and lag free.

Get wired, and go with Linksys/Cisco but to be honest what you want is a network switch. It's one of the easiest ways to get online with a number of wired sources for the cheapest and automatically configures itself after you bridge the connection.

I'm still having trouble connecting to a working server. I'll let you know if I get it to connect properly.

lisalover1 wrote:What games do you have? I have all the LAN games, so I'm up for anything. Why don't we try Mario Kart first? I'll make a private arena in Xlink called "Racketboy".

EDIT: Just made the private arena; I'll start up my 'Cube as soon as I see you in the arena.
I wanted to try this out for the first time today and the private arena "Racketboy" that you set up is not showing up in the list. I was hoping to play some Mario Kart.
