I'm surprised no one mentioned Tekken 5 for the PS2 lets you play the first 3 Tekken Arcade games. You don't have to unlock anything they are right on the menu screen. Pretty awesome!

On Super Mario Bros. Deluxe on GBC, you can unlock SMB 2 lost levels.

Didn't find anything not listed here, but why did you limit yourself to new games in the title? Hopefully having a list helps better so people don't have to read every post to see what games are there.

The list is a good idea, though I'd arrange it differently. Like I'd organize by console of new game, title of new game, then list the old games that are on it. Example:

DS
Contra 4 - Contra (NES), Super C (NES)

N64
Donkey Kong 64 - Jetpac (Arcade), Donkey Kong (Arcade)

Saturn
Die Hard Arcade - Deep Scan (Arcade)
Elevator Action Returns - Elevator Action (Arcade)

XBox
Doom 3 - Doom (PC)
Doom 3 CE - Doom (PC), Doom II (PC)

...see what I mean? Much easier to read and find things.
