Anyone else think the new XBOX 360 slim is ugly?

You really have to try to make a console look ugly.

It is fairly ugly but so are almost all of the modern consoles. I like my all white(no chrome) Arcade version 360.

Why would you say "almost all" when there are only 3 modern consoles?

There is 5 if you count handhelds and there are several releases of each of those consoles. 360 is on its forth iteration.

As for the system it is smaller then a ps3 slim if you look on kotaku they have comparisons already. The ps3 slim over hangs the 360 on all sides and it has that awful hump allowing me to not put anything on top of it.

I think that the DS Lite looks amazing because it's so smooth and looks so great. The 3DS looks weird when it's close. It doesn't look like it sits flesh when closed.

But, the original DS was ugly as all hell, so the original 3ds looks better than that!

Thats fine but that doesn't exclude them from this generation and it doesn't make them any less of a system they are a system/console regardless of how there played. Especially the PSP due to the fact that it does hook up to your TV if you so choose.

Im not arguing or anything I just think that a handheld shouldn't be excluded from a topic due to how its played. Thats my opinion at least.

I'd love a console that doesn't have funny lines or anything like that, I would prefer it if it looked more like just a standard DVD player, hell, I'd even prefer it look like a Mac Mini over any of the current designs, why do they need to have fancy curves etc? I don't know. Too bad nothing really interests me on the Wii, it's by far the best looking console, (especially in black).

I thought so too, but then I noticed if they made the bottom screen bigger as well, there wouldn't be enough space for the cool analogue disk/stick, and then they'd have to make it wider

Then make the top one smaller it detracts away from the overall appearance of the system and just looks awkward. Its nintendo they can make the bottom bigger there the apple of the gaming world.

I know, I didn't say anything about excluding them from the topic. If you looked back how this got started, you would notice that I was responding to when someone said "almost all modern consoles".
