QFT.

What I do in a situation like this: I let you know that I'm pretty sure that you stole from me. I tell them something a long the lines of this: "I'm going to let it go this one time because I can't prove it, but if I ever suspect that you've stolen from me again it will be the end of our friendship. So if you see someone stealing from me you'd better let me know".

If they are really your friend they can respect that. If they get pissed they are usually just trying to cover for the fact that they stole the item from you.

I had a friend with sticky fingers a few years back. He was a dumb thief too...he'd was the type that would steal something of yours and had no problem showing it to you and everyone else a week later. I had to end that friendship over a PS2 memory card. A fucking memory card with all my GT4/NFSU2 saves on it..all those cars that I spent hours setting up. >< I told him to just keep the damn thing because it was now useless to me (he formatted it) and that was the last time that I spoke with him. I see him in public every now and again and he won't even look me in the eye.

Anyway in my experience if someone is known to have sticky fingers they are usually the prime suspect.

Arek seems to be a pretty straight and narrow, but the day after he left my house, I noticed my Virtual Boy missing (although I hadn't looked for it for about a week before). And he always seems to have too much money.
The same day? Or at least in that same week? Ooooookay maybe a clue?

Pichu wrote:Steal Jessie's lady.

Jessie is a friend,
Yeah, I know he's been
A good friend of mine
But lately something's changed
That ain't hard to define
Jessie's got himself a girl
And I want to make her mine
And she's watching him with those eyes
And she's lovin' him with that body,
I just know it
Yeah 'n' he's holding her in his arms late,
Late at night

You know, I wish that I had Jessie's girl,
I wish that I had Jessie's girl
Where can I find a woman like that
I play along with the charade,
there doesn't seem to be a reason to change
You know, I feel so dirty
When they start talking cute
I wanna tell her that I love her,
But the point is probably moot
'Cos she's watching him with those eyes
And she's lovin' him with that body,
I just know it
And he's holding her in his arms late, late at night

Like Jessie's girl,
I wish that I had Jessie's girl
Where can I find a woman,
Where can I find a woman like that
And I'm lookin' in the mirror all the time,
Wondering what she don't see in me
I've been funny,
I've been cool with the lines
Ain't that the way
Love supposed to be
Tell me, where can I find a woman like that

You know, I wish that I had Jessie's girl,
I wish that I had Jessie's girl
I want Jessie's girl,
Where can I find a woman like that, like
Jessie's girl,
I wish that I had Jessie's girl,
I want,
I want Jessie's girl

there are so many unintentionally hilarious posts in this thread.

anyway you should just ask both of them "hey have you seen my virtual boy?" if neither fesses up, then they probably either did do it or didn't do it. but it will definitely be one or the other.

also, everyone else, i think OP is smart enough to not accusingly approach his friends wielding the wand of gamelon, shouting "YOU STOLE MY VIRTUAL BOY AND SHALL BE CLEAVED IN TWAIN!"

Hmm, that's odd. Isn't there a big Virtual Boy sale in Texas tomorrow?

+4 to humor.

This might actually be the first account of me laughing out loud.

Perhaps you can try to find it at one of your friends houses and steal it back during a friendly visit? If your dad took it you shall never get a confession my dad has gotten rid of all kinds of my shit and sold it at yard sales without permission many times over the years and has yet to admit to any of it.

And those are the CRAZY religious nuts - religious nuts are just religious people that have actually read the Bible.
I was under the impression that the only people who have ever read the bible are atheists.
Some of us Christians actually read it too. That being said, there are lots of those who talk the talk and don't walk the walk. Unfortunately, they tend to be the ones in the public eye.
Anyways, do you actually think your dad would take it from you? That'd be pretty rotten, then again, any of them taking it would be pretty rotten.

Squeeze all their asses. Lies are stored in your ass. If one ass is firmer than the other, that is the person who stole the virtual boy.
