After watching it I finally understood why it won so many awards. It´s terrific.
never seen the sequel though.
You guys just don´t like werewolf stuff. If you didn´t like Becky vampire slayer series why would you even watch this. What´s wrong with you guys? It seems some of you have more deep issues with this movie than just really thinking that the movie stinks. I loved every minute of it. And I understand that for some of you youngsters the feelings of a girl is not that fascinating, but it was a pretty standard flick, story wise. Guy protects girl.
35 year old who likes horror, werewolf, buffy stuff.
That's something that always confused me. I never saw nor read Twilight, but I think that the vampire dude is clearly not doing his job if that girl isn't an undead slave at this point. I mean, come on, it's been 2 movies and several books already; you would think that he would have found the time to drain her. Unless I'm missing something, that is.
Anyway, like everyone has said, guys don't like Twilight for the same reason girls don't like the American Pie movies. [Then again, how many people actually still like those movies, too? Oh, well, I couldn't think of a better example.] One thing I think should be noted, though, is that Twilight does something that Women have been complaining the reverse of for years: It sets the bar way too high for normal guys. Many women say that the media sets an unfair standard of beauty, but this movie does the same thing for men! I've actually heard women say that they would only consider someone like Edward as a possible date. How the hell are we supposed to compete with that?
One more thing, whenever anybody mentions Twilight in a conversation, I immediately bring up Castlevania. Nobody listens.
