Man when i bought genesis games when i was younger i didn't even get proper cases just this cardboard box crap. I was always so jealous of my friends collection that just fit in with all his vhs tapes. Yeah though I would never cut those tabs or throw out any of the useless shit that comes with the manual because i'm just happy to have something at that level of completeness. However those things did have like slits in them (I think) so sega's intention was probably for them to be removed.

Got two games in the mail today; Dracula for the Megadrive and Ghost House for the Master System, both boxes were circumcised! :(

Maybe I should buy some cheap games and just replace the boxes?

not about cutting tabs, what what kind of goodies do you have? too small to try to read the spines.

I like having tabs just because they feel more complete, but they are a pain and make games harder to store.
