Alpinex, what a mook.

I once bought something from his ebay account, and the deal went fine. Didn't expect him to pull this kind of stuff.

Well I'll be damned... I never knew that about GarbagePailKid/AlpineX/UnpluggedClone. Here is the thread in which ModMan gloriously calls him out before banning him.

As far as defending ourselves goes, I say screw it. The guy obviously comes off as a douche in his thread and everyone else pretty much defended us already. We win! :D

Also, thanks for posting that link, as the site looks pretty interesting.

This thread started out kind of so-so, but it has turned out to be pretty awesome.

I can't believe that unplugged clown was also AlpineX.

Don't worry, One day there may be hope for this guy. The stages of me (on various sites)
1st douchey stage, I was a total moron, I also couldn't spell. http://www.instructables.com/member/weebl/
2nd, I got a a little better, but still not the best member.- http://www.instructables.com/member/DNT+2.5/
3rd, I wasn't too bad, but it explains why the Modding community in the Benheck circle hates me - http://www.forums.benheck.com/memberlis ... le&u=12057 and http://www.forums.modretro.com/search.p ... mit=Search
Yeah, I was an assrag, But then I learned that Being a douche on the internet got you nowhere, just hated and banned so if you actually do look for something, you are screwed.

I don't know about that.

Isn't Alpinex an older guy with a wife and kids? If you're at that stage in life and you're airing out internet grievances by attempting to talk behind a forum's back, then I don't know what to say.

I'll give him the benefit of a doubt though: this is the internet, and people act differently on the internet. He might be a nice guy IRL, but with a douchey internet persona.

Pretty sure he mentioned being a bartender, which is why he had time to go look for stuff all week during the day. At first when he would post finds of the day it was amazing, then it just seemed incredibly douchey when he'd post amazing piles of stuff he supposedly got for pennies on the dollar and rubbed out faces in it 4 or 5 days a week.
