yep, me too.
i like blue moon, new castle, upland wheat, hoegaarden, and goose island 312 or honker's. i'm not a big IPA guy, but sometimes a ruination or arrogant bastard will totally suffice if i'm feeling rich and want to get totally fucked up.
i am more of a wine guy than a liquor guy. i always get way too plastered if i drink shots or sip on anything too hard for too long. i like reds; merlots, pinot noir, pinot grigio, etc. sometimes i'll get a nice chard but that's very few and far between.
when i'm feeling fruity i'll drink a mimosa.

I haven't had many cheap beers since the days of little responsibility and far too much frivolity. Good beers ruined my taste for the rest. Probably the cheapest beer I enjoy is Blue Moon, and even that I prefer with a slice of orange. I suppose I can tolerate a Corona with lime too, if the weather is hot enough.
I'm a big fan of Trappist beers, the upper echelon likely being Rochefort (I haven't tried Westvleteren yet though). Chimay is one of my go to beers, simply for its availability.
I'm a fan of Dogfish Head in general, though I have a special place in my heart for their IPAs. It's hardly an IPA at all, but their 90-minute is excellent. Though it's nearly a cognac, I have two 120-minutes in the basement to see how well they'll evolve being cellared for a few years. (Speaking of cognac-like beers, I'd love to try Sam Adams $150 Utopia.) I tried Dogfish's Red & White recently too, which was one of the better beers I've had in a while.
Truthfully I haven't been very impassioned about my beer hobby in some years. Aside from the chance I got to try a few craft beers a few weeks back, I've hardly experimented at all in about three years. Just writing this I've realized how out of touch I am! Time to start perusing BeerAdvocate again...
Also, I'd argue the point about beer being more varied and impressive than wine. It's far too subjective to make such a comment, so I'm not even going to bother elaborating on an argument against it. (I'm a big fan of both beer and wine, so I wouldn't want to pit the two against each other anyway). Suffice to say that many wines of various varieties can be immensely impressive.

I don't like beer, the hops taste gross to me, but it might just be the brewing process that does that, but if I have no other choice I'll drink Miller Genuine Draft.
Otherwise I love any and all hard liquors, mixed or straight, doesn't matter. But one of my current favourites is Jameson Irish Whiskey.

As a student, the 'rich' option doesnt so much apply to me here, but when I do drink (and i mostly only drink lager), my tpple of choice is normally San Miguel. If its not available (which its normally not on tap around here), I'll drink Grolsch or Stella Artois. Im not one for the weaker lagers, they taste awful to me.
When not drinking Lager, Jose Cuervo Especial tequila is a preferred alternative.

I leave this thread for one day and look what happens. The average age of the racket boy user is why I love this place.

No offence.
I got absolutely ruined on Stella once in Hong Kong and got a regrettable tattoo.

Truly the lament of a retro gamer with a taste for the sauce. You wake up, roll over and see what you just purchased on your monitor. Then you bite your fist and try to get clean. "Why did I BUY THAT?!"

I am mostly a man of temperance, but I do indulge occasionally. Mostly rums and whiskey. One of my sales reps is buying me a large bottle of Chimay beer so we will see how that goes. Any beer sold in a wine bottle by monks has to be good, right?
To be honest, even though I went to school in middle Alabama, I never got into drinking beer. I cant stand the big branded stuff, they make me ill, but I can take some micros. Also I like mixed drinks so wine is typically a nono...what can I say, being a bartender makes you like neat sounding/tasting drinks. Beer just doesnt do that for me. That and too much hops makes me piss like a race horse.
