Once again, I agree. I think they lost a BIG something when Roger left. I mean, have you ever compared "Pulse" live to the shows in recent years that Waters' new band had put on? The difference was like night and day.glynnahab wrote:x3MrPopo wrote:They lost a little something when Waters split.
If you ask me, they lost the subject matter when he left. Gilmour wrote some beautiful music, but it was all fluff without Waters.
Anyways, I just downloaded this and it rocks!
Personally, I'm not a big Gilmour fan. He's a great musician and all. But I think Waters was the brains behind Pink Floyd after Syd Barrett lost his shit.

I got to see Gilmour play during his On An Island tour. First half was the new album, which wasn't bad, but the second half was epic. Shine On part 1, Echoes, and several other classic tracks. The thing was, the On An Island stuff was good music, but it was mostly instrumental, or when there were vocals it kinda stays in the background as another instrument.Weekend_Warrior wrote:Once again, I agree. Re: Dark Side Of The NES
back to OP, this is a nice/fun novelty. But I feel like it sort of loses it's charm with each listen...
Re: Dark Side Of The NES
I bought a collection of Pink Floyd's greatest hits sheet music for the piano.
Included with it was the sheet music for "I've got a bike, you could ride it if you'd like".
Wow. Syd Barrett really was nuts.
