Breaking Bad Season 3 Starts Tonight

Last night's episode wasn't suspenseful, but it was still very good. Gustavo is a badass!

I've enjoyed this season far apart from the last episode... it was like nothing happened. Boring. Thankfully this is the first episode I've not found interesting, all the same I'm still quite disappointed:(

Anyone else hate Skyler? I love the show but if I didn't she would really kill it for me.

I haven't felt like there's been a dull episode since the show started. Amidst all the shows where major things happen and characters just go on like it's no big deal, Breaking Bad focuses on how these things would impact real people. Any other show would have had Walt and Skyler back together by now, or at least banging in a broom closet at the hospital. Her entire story about Walt's gambling was brilliant and all the reactions from it were great. I liked how Walt wanted to clear the air with Gus, that sort of tension of not knowing someones true intentions would eat anyone alive.

I'm just glad Breaking Bad doesn't stick to a formula. Most shows that started out like breaking bad would have had Walt secretly cooking meth in an RV with Jessie for 5 seasons. Something would happen, and he'd go home to his wife and come up with a lie. Maybe they'd mix things up and have her find out in the series finale that they have to shoot because ratings dropped after doing the same thing for 100 episodes.

I don't get why people hate skyler. Most of her actions seem pretty realistic for someone in her situation. Obviously people root for Walt because he's the star, but like I said, if she went and accepted what he did and they got it on in the janitors closet it'd be like every other show on tv.

Well accepting it and not being a huge hypocrite and b**** about it are two different things. She is cool with taking the money and using it but she is too good for him because of how he earned it. Even though she is a cheating, lying, bag. Also, the guy she is cheating with is breaking the law too. Not to mention that she went out and banged the guy just to dig a knife into her husbands side. At least he had an unselfish reason for his indiscretions.

I'm not really on Walt's side or rooting for him. I just hate Skyler. Even if they changed her attitude I probably wouldn't care for her admittedly because her mannerisms really rub me wrong.

See, I really liked that episode. The episode before was action packed, mainly because of the intense last scene. The episode you didn't enjoy was also suspensful, but not because of action, it was purely story driven. A LOT of stuff happen in that episode, and I thought it was intense. Gus is a bad ass, all that stuff he had done. I thought it was great. And oh yeah, let's not forget that twin seeing Walter's face and crawling out of the bed!

Breaking Bad focuses on how these things would impact real people.

Exactly. I think BB is far different than anything I've ever seen on TV. I think it's a lot more real than reality shows!

Yeah, I don't like her either. Even early in the series, I just don't like her. I think she's an annoying person. But, I love that I don't like her. For me, it's just another element that makes the show great.

Just chiming in to say I hate you all and the fact that my universal remote doesn't have the button to access the program function on my VCR.

I've missed way too many episodes this season.........
