Got it today. Right now my party is a Flaafy, Croconaw, and Hoothoot. Gonna get a Heracross for my next guy, so I have something to counteract the legendary Miltank.

I like the Gym redesigns, the animations of you actually climbing ladders, jumping down wells and such instead of just fading in after stepping on it. The newly designed cities feel larger, and are breathtaking for 2D. Violet city at night, with minor details like the glowing lanterns, is beautiful.

Additionally, the new menu layout, and being able to run automatically without constantly holding B, as well as having two registered key items, all are simple but brilliant fixes that make good use of that second screen, instead of the Poketch, which I personally never used beyond "clock".

If I were to make a complaint, it would be that they used Kotone/Lyra instead of Crystal/Kris from the Crystal version. She deserves some love as being the very first playable trainer. The opening credits showed Eusine from Crystal, so if he gets to be in it why not her?

I always do power runs of pokemon, aka I only use one pokemon and I try to sweep the entire game with it. A couple of the gyms gave me some trouble (2nd, 4th and 8th) but overall wasn't too hard. Now I am on the Elite 4 and its going to be very difficult to win with just one pokemon. I can barely get past the first fight despite my Meganium out leveling the opponents by 20+ levels.

Ah! Still waiting for my copy. I wanted to make sure I got a US copy so I placed an order through play-asia, but I didn't order it until yesterday  but I got an email that it has been shipped, so I hope it arrives quickly.

Yes you can. You just need to register each others friend codes, because nintendo likes long uneeded codes.

That should be the parents job. Don't punish/restrict me because some parents are bad at parenting.
