What happens to games released late in a console's lifespan?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Talking about the Six-Axis controls? Yeah, fuck 'em. Toss that game.

Well both to be honest. I thought that the sixaxis controls would suck. They did, so I switched to the analogues and still couldn't win a singe race. No matter how much I boost I never seem to be able to do any better than 4th place. Is this some killer rubber-banding or does the game just suck?

I remember having a hard time winning playing the demo. I'd toss the game even if it is you, toss that game anyway. Racing games are a dime a dozen.

Am I the only one who is actually EMOTIONALLY attached to my consoles?
I wanted to cry when the dreamcast died.

I also found the first motorstorm too difficult, and I usually kick ass at racing games. After I figured out that I didnt have to do the races in order, it got a little better and I actually won some races, but still couldnt beat the harder ones even after unlocking better vehicles. Overall I found the controls really sloppy and it didnt have enough features/game modes to keep me interested.

Sounds like a date or two that I have been on!
