Well, Your last comment made it seem like you don't repair yourself. There is bound to be people with Nice cars that they work on, but just like in real life, you can pretty confidently say that most of the general public rely on repair shops to fix their auto problems. Not saying there isn't people that work on cars.lost_within wrote: I forgot, I rebuild cars for a living. Rotaries are not simple and not economical to someone that has not used it as a corner stone for learning, thats right only one car still uses it and now its not even turbo charged anymore. God forbid it has a oil leak before anyone finds it and it blows up. I love the rotaries, 93 rx7 is one of my fav cars, but for a daily driver I wouldnt put anyone in one.
Bold comment to make on a game forum...assuming that people here dont know how to work on a car. More so considering several members here have REALLY nice tuner cars...
But really, Rotaries are fairly simple, much like a regular engine, you just need to research tonnes, work a little, research more. ETC, For most people rotaries are expensive to get repaired, but if you fix them yourself they can be just as cheap as a conventional piston powered car.
As for gas milage, I haven't noticed it uses much more gas than our other car (4cyl 1985-6 fiero) It uses more oil though because of the oil injection.
