River Raid or Pole Position. I can't remember which I played first.

Probably Oregon Trail. I can't honestly remember my first game anymore. I guess I'm getting too old. I do remember that my elementary school had Apple ][ e computers, and I do remember playing a lot of Oregon Trail, but there were other games too. Most of the games were somehow educational like Math blasters clones. I wish I could remember which floppy disk was my first.

Barnstorming for Atari 2600
It was one of my dad's favorite games and he had me play it. I vaguely remember playing it.

First game I owned was Mario world

Radio Shack Pong Clone, on a black and white TV. Not that a color TV would have mattered, come to think of it.

Like the Atari version, it ran on batteries and the sound came out of the unit.

The first game i played and first game i remember playing are probably two totally different titles. The one that comes to mind like a few other posts here is Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt. I dont think that was till about 93-94. I remember sneaking a go early in morning when my older brother was asleep and then getting a slap when i woke him up clicking the Nes gun trigger.

Man I miss that console.

If you don't count education pc games like reader rabbit or treasure mountain, I'm fairly certain it was american gladiators for the NES

The first game i played was contra 3 then castlevania 4.
