Steam just went CRAZY!

Shit. I am going to most likely get a Steam account now.

That's what I'm thinking. I have a shit mail-order PC with an integrated graphics card, though. Oh well, I could at least play some basic stuff.

So I picked up Torchlight for $10, now I'm thinking about grabbing King's Bounty for 26. Anyone try this game? I've heard it's like Heroes of Might and Magic. I'm downloading the demo now.

New deals today. The standouts in my mind are Serious Sam HD for $10, and the id Super Pack for $24. That's all three Dooms, Quake 1-3, Heretic, Hexen 1 & 2, Commander Keen, Wolfenstein, Spear of Destiny and Return to Castle Wolfenstein (and all the mission packs for the aformentioned games).

Does that include the newest Wolfenstein?

I have the rest of these on disc, but it might be nice to have them all in one place on Steam if the newest Wolfenstein is included

It does not have the newest Wolfenstein, nor does it have Quake 4 or Heretic 2, which seem to be the only sequels missing from the pack.

I get that a lot, but no, I don't work for any videogame companies. I just like finding good bargains, so I let other people know about them. I like finding things at low prices. I'm the same way with groceries. I like to walk away with a full cart knowing I only spent about $35 bucks. I just don't post here about how Fred Meyer is having a great sale on bananas or something because that would get boring real fast.

And Resident Evil 5 is at $25. Not a bad price, and it will fuel my need to experience every main Resident Evil game. And the PC control is soooo much better than dual analog.
