A flaw with this generation of consoles?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I remember they released MvC2 in a retail package, but no disc, just a download voucher....kind of silly I think, but whatever.

Yeah, this practice in general pisses me off, why not just print the 25 cent disc and stick it in there?

Yeah... I got the retail package anyway, because with my employee discount it ended up being cheaper than buying online. Even so, a disc inside would have been epic, even if all the disc did was contain the install files. (Perhaps it could have also contained images of the Udon-Illustrated Instruction Booklet that it was supposed to come with. That was the main reason I wanted the retail version.)

Exactly, I'll still get it if I ever see another new copy as I find that if we support more of these then there's a greater chance to see an actual disc pressing, but I'll still be pissed off about it until I see a physical copy appear.

Now that I think about it, if they did have install files on a disc, then the only thing that would stop people from putting it on every PS3 they can find would be a CD-Key, and that would require internet access anyway...

Still, if they just had a disc that contained a bunch of bonus content, that would have been awesome.
