My big day all planned out. 10 hours of gaming....

i get a call from the mother. She needs my help with moving a car.

My car breaks down in the process....
I spend about 4 hours getting it to move again.
I get home to play and everyone in the world wants to talk to me about something or another.
I finally manage to get a few games in
Space Channel 5
NHL 2k2
Sega Smash pack volume 1

I never had played space channel 5 and sucked horridly. I understand the whole rhythm game but im used to having displays on screen and not having to simon says my way throughout it.

NHL 2k2 I played and forgot that it's 2002 rosters... and what a bad idea it was to pick the ducks.... Kariya I love to hate you

Then talked the girlfriend into joining me with Sega smash pack
We played Golden axe & streets of rage 2 (Love this game)

I printed out the Dreamcast logo on a full sheet of paper, taped it on the front of my shirt, and wore it all day at school, informing everyone who asked about the DC's birthday. I also played Quake 3 online and Phantasy Star Online for quite a while, as well as watch a couple videos with the DC's VCD player, and played a large chunk of my Dreamcast game library. It was awesome.

By jamming a piece of cake into the open maw of my much neglected Dreamcast. Then I'll spend the following week cleaning out.

Seriously, my car project pretty much eats up all my time, not much time left for gaming right now. Maybe I'll pick it up more this winter when it's too cold to work in the garage.
Ow! My small intestine!

I started playing PSO for my Dreamcast's birthday.... I logged about 6 hours on yesterday. I wish I could've played it when I could get online with it, but I didn't get a DC until a year or two ago.

Sadly - instead of dreamcast time, I spent the evening rebuilding a driver hive on an xp install. No Toy Commander for me, but Saturday will be Chu Chu Rocket on the 15 foot screen.

finally rounded out my sega collection with a model 2 sega cd and 7 games for $50. May not be too dreamcast related, but I really didnt want to shell out for a thrid dreamcast... Though i did see a complete grandia II for $45 that i might just have a belated celebration with.

Man I wish I brought my DC to college.
Don't that just look oh so tasty?

By pure luck I ended up getting a Clear Blue Dreamcast (Though it was the 10/9 here it was the 9/9 in the states). Exactly 10 years late to the party, but better late than never. Just waiting for my AV cables to rock up in the mail and im good to go!

I spent the day working. Seriously, the whole damn day was spent - working for 12 hours straight. I did make sure everyone I was working with knew what day it was, and was delighted to know some were DC'ers themselves.

I had planned to spend the day with some friends, playing some DC multiplayer games, but that kinda fell through.

Interestingly, I did also get me diploma in the mail on that day. I didn't even realize I was eligible for graduation, but I'll take it.

Finally getting around to posting party pics.

As a general rule, I don't post friends/relatives on the net, but I assure you we had a crowd of 10. :)
