Collecting regrets?

My only real regrets are not waiting longer to pick up a game. For instance, I bought the Legend of Zelda from Play N Trade for $20, I then went to a Movie Trading Company where I found one in better condition for less than half of that. I also regret losing my Gameboy pocket several years ago. I never did find out what happened to it...

-Loaning games out to "Friends", now my Xbox and DS collections are only a fraction of the sizes they used to be.
-Selling a few games (never doing that again, i'm still looking to rebuy some, such as DK64, Mortal Kombat 3 [SNES], Daffy Duck: The Marvin Missions [GB])


But I don't sell games anymore (unless it's a worthless double) nor loan them out.

I dated a girl-gamer throughout high school. We moved in together after graduating with the intention of getting married. I worked a job as a dishwasher making $6/hr, but still managed to gather an extensive collection of PS1 RPGs.

After we broke up, she broke into the house when I was at work and took the PS1 and all the games. (I had taken her key by this time.) I never saw her again, though I heard she got really fat.

Hopefully she gained all the weight while playing Beyond the Beyond.... Fucking bitch.

Wow - normally, I only hear about non-gamer girls doing that sorta stuff with their gamer boyfriends. For instance, I've heard many cases of girls hawking valuable games just because they don't understand the hobby. Good to know girls are scary regardless. =P
