I just got Shining Force and Gunstar Heroes for my CDX, and The Orange Box for 360. I also downloaded Golden Axe and Streets of Rage 2 from XBLA. My wife played through Golden Axe with me and had a good time so that was fun. My Shining Force is in the mail. I've never played any of the shining games, so I'm looking forward to it.

Did you get the genesis Shining Force or Shining Force CD? Shining Force is one of my all time favorites, both games are great. In the CD one you only go battle to battle with little skits in between, then you can go to base or shop. No roaming villages!!! Also, internal memory is not enough to play all chapters as you have to have a completed save of both books to play the 3rd. You need a backup cart, which i don't have...yet!!! I haven't played the 3rd chapter!!! argh! Shining Force on genesis is great, but you can't go back to previously played villages so search everywhere for characters and items. Shining Force 2 has even more free roaming, pick that up if you can find it too!!!Ramatut4001 wrote:I just got Shining Force and Gunstar Heroes for my CDX, and The Orange Box for 360. Picked up an complete original Japanese Phantasy Star Online for Dreamcast on e-bay for like $7 shipped earlier this week. Mainly for collecting purposes. I also ordered a 32x on e-bay that includes 12 games with it, I think a pretty good deal.
Only other games I bought recently were like a dozen Saturn games in Japan at Bookoff - they were literally like $1 each in great shape and almost all complete. Also got the Japanese version of Shenmue there for like $5.
I got a PC-FX also over the summer (and a second controller pad to) but have not bought any games yet. I might buy a couple from play-asia sometime as the prices seem rather reasonable.
