Actually, he's Asian American. I don't know what specific descent, but he seems to dislike Asian people in general. This is the first time he's named a specific country, as far as I know. Perhaps he things the Vietnamese are ok, or Laosians, or Thai? I don't know. Still, it seems a case of a man despising his origins though they may be distant relations.

Hating a country and its laws is different than hating a race of people. For example, I hate the country of Saudi Arabia because its oppressive attitude towards women. That doesn't mean I hate the Saudi people. The Chinese people are just making a living. Its the corporate machine and the Republic of China and its laws that does nothing to protect its people from unfair labor practices. Thats what people should be hating. Its simple, stop buying from companies that do business in China. If you look hard enough you can still buy American for lots of things.

China didn't force their goods upon us. We went to them. In droves. Because everyone is worried about their own bottom line. Manufacturing in China lowers costs and raises your share price. So does laying people off.

If the average American had the time and money to vote with their dollars, maybe our dependance on a Communist nation wouldn't be where it is right now. But at the end of the day, Joe Public would rather spend 5 bucks on a plastic toy from China than 20 bucks on a wooden one made in the States.
