I like to thoroughly explain myself so now i wont have to worry about further questions like "there are good RPG's on PS3, so why do you feel this way?" "your missing out" "there are good games in the series you love on this console so your being biased or cutting yourself short by doing that" etc, etc etc...
Just hate to have to deal w/ questions like that so one long explanation is better than going through all that and then some. If people ask things like that to be funny or a pain I will simply ignore them(I am sure I am asking for it by even mentioning it here).
I am just trying to be as nice as possible so because I don't use 3rd grade 5 world answers doesn't mean I need to or deserve to be made fun of. I have intelligence and I plan on using it when needed answering questions or posting opinions. Now back to things that matter...RPG's(gaming).

Borrowed Blue Dragon and Enchanted Arms (360) from my brother today. I've heard Blue Dragon is good, but what about the other?

I'm not sure if I'd say the reception about Blue Dragon is necessarily good. I've always got the impression it is pretty generic.

It is kind of "generic" but I liked it slightly more than Lost Odyssey strangely enough. The whole lighthearted adventure and that Akira Toriyama art style really sold it to me I suppose.Violent By Design wrote:I'm not sure if I'd say the reception about Blue Dragon is necessarily good. As for what I'm playing at the moment, it's Dragon Quest IV on the DS. About 8 hours in so far. Hope to have this wrapped up before Bravely Default comes out.

Just finished up playing through Lunar Silver Star Story Complete for PS1. But for now I'm going back and playing some RPGs that I missed the first time around on my NES. This includes the infamous Hydlide, and (so far pretty awesome) Crystalis!

I just finished playing lunar eternal blue for psx, was a little shorter than I expected but was a great game none the less..
For now I think I will start Persona 4 Golden, I have never played a game in the Persona series so I'm hoping it is like final fantasy in the respect that you can start at any game and won't be lost story wise

Yeah you're fine starting out with Persona 4. There is one part where you revisit the city and high school from P3 but you don't really encounter any major characters so it won't be a big deal for you. I'd still recommend playing P3FES at some point since it's really good as well.PinkPanzer wrote:I just finished playing lunar eternal blue for psx, was a little shorter than I expected but was a great game none the less..

That point is more of a couple of smile references to people who played P3; the actual events don't require you to have played P3. Pretty much all of the Megaten games don't require you to have played the previous, except for Digital Devil Saga 1 & 2 (and the two halves of Persona 2, to a lesser extent).CavZee wrote:Yeah you're fine starting out with Persona 4.
