Gamestop isn't limiting to 1? I would not be surprised if he got jumped for pulling that scalper crap in plain sight with people lined up there to get their own.

There's a guy in town here on craigslist trying to sell them for $150. People on a facebook site I'm on are angry about it. I mentioned perhaps we should cut his profit margin and have people agree to buy but meet up, not show up, and many do it so he loses his profit in wasted time and gas money. People like that require being punished.

The lines are no surprise given how expensive scalpers have made original NES games these days. Seeing Nintendo get back into the 8bit racket in this way is inspiring to a lot of interested parties. If you figure people aren't dumb into this knowing scumbags will try and make a profit off them this Christmas they'll line up to try their best to pay what it legitimately goes for. I'm going for the amazon opening later today, if it fails, I'll watch for the next...and the next... as I won't be robbed.

Wow it's like a Tickle Me Elmo moment there with that behavior, not good, and a bad omen for someone who legitimately wants one for themselves or their kids.

Oh yeah and all the resellers were circling like hawks. Gold chains, deep v's, bluetooth headsets and gotees. Constantly asking people if they could buy it off them for 80 bucks. Everyone knew hiw much they were reselling for in that line and none of them wanted to part with them this was their childhood.

Scalpers are everywhere. I will never forget a few years back when a bad wind storm knocked out the power for over a week. Literally had assholes buy up every generator for 1000+ miles just to resell them  .

Then we had the month or two where a chemical spill contaminated all the water in the area and stores actually had to start limiting peoples purchases on water. The first week or so dicks were buying up and reselling all the bottled water they could get their hands on  .

Working at Toys R Us during the holiday was also pretty interesting once you knew what the popular items were because you had to watch for pricks trying to trick unknowing staff into selling date restricted/limited items. You'd see the same scumbags come by every few days trying to buy up any restock we got in.

I wish I coild ipen this thing up. We wanted two, one for us and one for my wife's mom who was actually excited for it. Guess the mother in law wins the prize. She will be so happy.

I was at Walmart at a little bit before 6am, already 20 people in line with Store Manager handing out tickets! Ah well, went in to buy milk and dropped off at home. I then drove over to Best Buy that I knew had 9 consoles and 9 extra gamepads in Receiving. Too late, even at 730am in the morning (Best Buy opens at 10am); already a long line of people camping out with beach umbrellas.

I take back my earlier statement, turns out the NES Classic is popular! Meh, I'll wait till later to pick up the $9.99 gamepads for my Wii, probably have to wait until after the holidays. Sadly Amazon already shows scalpers selling just the controller at $249.00, there are fools out there that will pay this! :?

One of the people standing in the line at Walmart touted that Gamestop was carrying an add on cart. Told him no such thing the console has no (at least not official) way to add games. He probably saw this:

So are all Wii controllers compatible with it - i.e. Can I use my Wii pro controller or Wii SNES controller with it?
