Tanooki wrote:So I guess that high price is because you guys found Panzer Dragoon Saga for the TG16 CD? Pretty sure this isn't a Sega topic.

There are definitely Turbo games that can compete price-ise though

It's not a Sega topic, but it was a natural progression of conversation against which we have no rules.

Lol, that makes me want to build a time machine and travel back to right before they crushed all those extra copies with a steam roller. I would be making bank now days with that supply

But it can so easily be.
What's the best Sega port for the PC Engine?
Outrun
Space Harrier
Altered Beast
Something else?

I was under the impression they mostly pretty terrible.
The Fantasy Zone port is decent though.

What about Afterburner 2?

Afterburner 2 on the TG format was really fun as I recall playing that back in the late 90s.

Oh, not at all.
Fantasy Zone is great, as is Space Harrier.
After Burner isn't bad (better gameplay than the Genesis version, though the backgrounds are a little plainer).
Golden Axe is a horrible pile of crap.
Altered Beast is a decent port. Not as good as the MD version, but not bad, certainly.
Shinobi is also a decent port, though it is missing a lot of content. Still fun, though.
Out Run is a very good port.
Monster Lair is better on PC Engine CD.
Dynastic Hero is not as good as Monster World on Genesis, but still a very good game. Not worth the price premium, though.
Bonanza Bros. is better than the Genesis version by a little.
Gain Ground is pretty good. Arguably more fun than the arcade original.
Dragon's Curse is one of the best chip games on the system.
Power Drift I don't know much about. I haven't played much of any version.

I guess my question is which ones are worth getting over cheaper and easier to find versions on other systems?
