I'm fairly new to the genre, I wouldn't know what other game to describe it too. I mean the only other shooter Ive played is Galactic Attack and it's nothing like that. Played a lot of Who's That Flying in the last few days. So weird to play a non-Japanese shmup. I liked the mix with tower defense in this game, but the mechanics are far from being deep. Great fun, though!

I'm (finally) getting back into Futari. I've been playing it on and off since release but I keep on going away from it for months at a time and losing my skills :/. I'm taking on Black Label this time so hopefully I can finally nail the 1cc before I get distracted from it again.
I haven't even begun to lose interest in the game, I just get distracted by school and stuff, I have a feeling I'll be playing it for a looong time.

Just Beat "Nanostray" NDS. Graphically impressive, interactive touch screen to swap out weapons and scan bosses. Not much in the way of power-ups. The last boss was a 10 minute-squeeze-the-ds-white-knuckle job. Can be had for about $5 shipped on ebay, highly recommended.
