Smiled - Extraordinary Tales got released to streaming last month. For those who do not know, this is an experimental animation film about Edgar Allen Poes works. Including an awesome Fall of the House of Usher narrated by Christopher Lee. Bluray comes in February, but for now this exists:

Student Loan Lender doing some shadyness, still.

Check out video game stuff online. Everyone is complaining about Nintendo censoring scantily clad ladies in video games, but aren't recognizing that visibly adult women aren't being censored when sexualized. The specific character people are complaining about, like in Xenoblade Chronicles X for example, is originally a 13 year old, and is still only 15 in the North American version (That's a rumor, she might not have been aged up at all). Very .... pedo-ish. All the games people are complaining about this in, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Bravely Default, and Fatal Frame Maiden of the Black Water have under age female characters, and that is the only reason the revealing clothes are being changed.
How do I know that's the only reason? Because Bayonetta 1 and 2 on Wii U weren't censored. The Fairy in 3D Zelda games is very .... revealed ... I only know of one instance of adult female censorship in a modern Nintendo game, and someone had to tell me about it, apparently some panty shot was changed in a recent Fire Emblem.
But I guess Nintendo of America is a bunch of monsters for destroying the original creative vision of having a thirteen year old girl character look like this for a fan service perv costume:
Plus, I'm pretty sure NoA wants the words "Nintendo" and "Pedophile" no where near each other when people speak, or type.

I would say the "age" of a videogame character is pretty much irrelevant. The difference between her being 13 or 18 is only a few keystrokes away, and most people wouldn't care about the sexualization at all if she had been described as 18.Cronozilla wrote:Check out video game stuff online. Nintendo may not, but others companies are indeed censoring adult characters. R. Mika from Street Fighter V has been censored, some Tekken characters have been censored and I remember reading on NeoGAF a couple horror games have been censored too but I don't remember which ones.Cronozilla wrote:Everyone is complaining about Nintendo censoring scantily clad ladies in video games, but aren't recognizing that visibly adult women aren't being censored when sexualized.
Still, I would prefer to have the work as originally intended, warts and all.

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
I am extremely happy. I had a fun day selling my wares at a local comic book convention. My cousin came in mid day and helped keep me company.
I sold off some extra things I had. Comics, manga, dvds toys and some videogames!
Been going through my stuff for the last few weeks and seeing what I can part with.
Although a good portion of my sales stuffs was the same from the last time I did one of these, (you all remember right?)

All and all, I kept selling till the sun went down, and at the end of the day I made $5,000 pesos. Or about $300 US dollars!

Here's a video. i hope it works. I'm in there, you can see me eating a bag of chips!

I so happy with my extra money! Now I wont have to convert any money for the next few months, I hope.
Gonna put up some more pictures on my tumblr, if you're interested in taking a look!

Not if their age ties in to the story. Also isn't changing their age to 18 still a form of censorship?BoringSupreez wrote:I would say the "age" of a videogame character is pretty much irrelevant.
