I really like reading your (and everyone else's) comments, I just don't know what to say most of the time because I haven't played the games!

Ditto.
I also read pretty much everything posted on this thread. It is a great way to find out about new, interesting games.

It's kind of hard to measure when you've 'beaten' Super Mario Maker considering there are already more levels in existence than I could ever finish but I did unlock all the items and clear all of the built-in levels. So there we are!
What is amazing about this game is that it exists at all. Nintendo is so obsessed with controlling their IPs and here is a game where you can create levels where Mario is leaping over massive dicks and it's all cool. And it is all cool because this game has nearly endless content and has given me a great chance to not only take a turn in the game development seat but also to connect with some of the other Racketboy members in a pretty substantial way. Playing your friend's levels drives you in turn to steal their ideas and try to improve them.

I had a chance to play this for an hour or two a few weeks back and had a great time. I surprised my friend with loads of level ideas he hadn't thought of. I intend to make good on them as soon as I get the game, which will likely be around Christmas at this point.

I like to try and comment on things here, although I admittedly struggle to comment on most of Noise and Ack's updates because there's only so many times people can stand to hear me say 'that sounds cool, although I don't really like FPS or PC games'. Obviously they play more than just that and I comment when I can but I'm sure you all get what I mean. I imagine there are people who look at the stuff I play and just think 'I have no significant context for this' too.

Well, you could always try playing an FPS on PC!
I kid, of course. You're right about some of us having varied tastes, but we do also occasionally find overlap or will find titles that interest others. Also, please, stop hiding your thoughts behind spoilers. I realized looking over your beaten list that I totally missed when you played through Live A Live earlier this year!

Yeah, I mainly did it because I normally update 2 or 3 games at a time and that's gonna make for some looooonngg posts. Definitely need to rethink that strategy though.
Also, I don't know if someone has deleted an earlier post or something, but all of my old links to this years reviews seem to be one post out from where they should be now

Yeah, I noticed that. Try this instead:
At the top of each post is a small blue arrow pointing to the thread title(Games Beaten 2015 for the first post, RE: Games Beaten 2015 for all after). That arrow provides the URL to link directly to that post. I use that for all of my entries on here.
Example:
