Or pull a "Zelda" - ignore pesky timeline issues for 25+ years and then randomly come out with an "official" multi-pronged alternate timeline that looks like it was written under the influence of the funky looking mushrooms that grow behind your office (but was actually dreamed up by bored fans on the internet years earlier).Stark wrote:Just call it alternate universe!MrPopo wrote:I don't like how Lords of Shadow erased the entire timeline. So the first ep of Legion is 90 mins. And halfway thru my neighborhood lost power.

Did you get to finish it?! Wow, this show is amazing. Total "unreliable narrator" thing going on. And style, so much style.noiseredux wrote:So the first ep of Legion is 90 mins. And halfway thru my neighborhood lost power.

nope. Annoying. I was really into it. I probably had 20-30 mins left actually. I'll have to see if it's streaming somewhere so I can finish it, but it definitely screws up the momentum to stop and start an episode like this.

You can get the FXNow app for Xbox One and depending on your cable sub you can activate it and watch there.noiseredux wrote:nope. Annoying. I was really into it. sounds like a plan.

I actually don't have any experience with that, I'm a cable cutter and borrow my sister's login to activate the FXNow app. My buddy Phades does run the cable that way, I'll tell him to comment here.noiseredux wrote:sounds like a plan.

Man, I actually enjoyed Lords of Shadow. I always viewed it as a sort of alternate history, so I have no issues with them goofing around with the various story elements.
Lords of Shadow 2 is a bit spottier, with some weird tonal whiplash in spots, but a pretty fun game overall.
