if we do switch August with October, I'm still confused because one post says October is Wonderboy and another says it's the monster double feature...

First post is the one I go by. It says:
August - Sports - NBA JAM
September - Isometric Shooter - Urban Strike
October – Platformer – A Wonderboy Title
November – Wrestling/Giant Monster – Double Feature: King of Monsters & Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee
December – Tunnel Shooter – Tempest Series

Which I am fine swapping any of them around except Tempest.

the order doesn't really matter to me, I just want us all to know what the schedule is. Especially if it's going to be end up being "a Wonderboy title" for next month, considering it hasn't even been decided WHICH Wonderboy game yet, and that leaves very little time for people to actually buy the game once it's announced.

sure. It's just when I thought it was NBA Jam, I was covered... now I'm gonna have to figure out which game I'm hunting for in the next week or two!

Sorry fellas, lost my grandfather two weeks ago and had a vacation with that side of the family lined up. So yeah the site was very low on my priority list. I told Ack that moving NBA Jam was up to him, Racket, and dsheinem (since he said he could line up guests on the podcast if it was on the month of the new ones release).

As for Wonderboy we will probably do Wonderboy III: Monster Lair, unless there is an outcry for another version. I am actually not that versed in the series, but that one had a fairly large release and two releases on the VC.

I hate to be a pain, but not only is that generally considered the worst game in the series, it's also not very representative of the wonder boy games in terms of gameplay.

Might I recommend either Wonder Boy III: Dragon's Trap (which is a different game) which is on SMS, TG16/PCE, and VC twice. (TG16 as Dragon's Curse), or Wonder Boy in Monster World which similarly is on Mega Drive/Genesis, TG16/PCE and VC twice (TG16 as Dynastic Hero).
