I use the JFJ Easy Pro Plus like i linked to above. They usually go for around $120 they also have attachments/supplies that you can buy for resurfacing GameCube discs.
http://www.amazon.com/JFJ-Video-Blu-Ray ... j+easy+pro
It's a pretty simple setup and leaves the discs looking nice and clean aside from a slight wear ring in the center where the nut holds it in place. Discs do still have scratches on them after you are finished but they are extremely light and only show up in indirect light if you closely inspect the disc.
Edit:
To resurface gamecube games you have to buy the plate, and the smaller buffing pads(they are about half the height of the normal pads). Since I rarely have GameCube games to clean I usually just save my regular buffing pads after they have worn about half way down after that they are usually good for 5-10 game cube buffs before they get to the point that I don't trust them any longer. Aside from that you might there is the GC sanding pads I have one for hard and soft sanding, but just use the one for soft sanding though since I've found the game cube games are prone to spindle cracks if you run them through more then a few cycles it just puts a lot of stress on the center of the disc.
You can find the stuff for pretty cheap on eBay usually.

Kind of sucks though they used to have nice metal gamecube plates, but now they use heavy plastic.

Went to a Pawn shop near me that always has amazing stuff, and got
Ico (disc only) $6
Final Fantasy Tactics (Like New) $11
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 (Like New) $2
Ico is amazing, if a tad too difficult. Haven't played Tactics yet, and TFU 2 is a dissapointment, coming off of the great first one.
Also, this was a couple of weeks back, but i went to a thrift store near me that sells games for only 25 cents. So, i go in there about once a week and grab some random stuff, like golf games. Well, this time, they had Brave Fencer Musashi.
I got Brave Fencer Musashi for 25 cents.
I also got a Gamecube controller for $1.

Hard to beat that. Great find!
Hey, there's another classic I could play for the summer games challenge! Provided, of course, that folks consider it a bonafide classic and not just a sleeper hit.

Thanks!

I think it's a hit. It sold pretty well for a new IP (although, that's mostly due to the FF8 demo.) I think it qualifies.

Earthbound - Nintendo Wii U
Legend of Zelda - Nintendo Wii U
Zelda II: The Adventure of Link - Nintendo Wii U
Super Metroid - Nintendo Wii U
Grand Theft Auto V - PC
Grand Theft Auto V - Xbox One
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag - Xbox One
Assassin's Creed Unity - Xbox One
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare - Xbox One
So my parents surprised me with my 29th and 30th birthday gift, an Xbox One. The day before I had purchased Grand Theft Auto V for PC, and my friend surprised me with a copy of the game for Xbox One. So now I'm not quite sure which to play (The answer is both, of course). I grabbed a bunch of Wii U Virtual Console games too, using my Club Nintendo Points. It's been a great month.
