Is anyone here in Europe wanting to play a bit in the 2nd half of January? If so I will try to install the thing and get it running.

I'll happily join you, as long as you dont mind me having a head start in terms of level.Ivo wrote:Is anyone here in Europe wanting to play a bit in the 2nd half of January? If so I will try to install the thing and get it running.

I don't particularly mind. If it looks like the level difference is hindering I guess you could always create an alternate character.alienjesus wrote:I'll happily join you, as long as you dont mind me having a head start in terms of level.Ivo wrote:Is anyone here in Europe wanting to play a bit in the 2nd half of January? I'll see if I can install and get it running before the next weekend, and then we could play a chunk on the weekend itself if you are free on Sat or Sun.

As so many of us are already painfully aware, yes, the server has been crashing about every 5-10 minutes, down for about 5, and back up etc etc etc. This has been happening since I was online last night.
The GM's are aware of the situation. At this point it's a matter of contacting the admins, since they're the ones that will know what's going on. Could be undergoing maintenance, or in need of maintenance...I'm not really sure. The only reason I've made a topic about it is just because I haven't seen it do this in a while, and everyone is asking about it lol.
AS A PRECAUTION Try not to move any items around during this time (withdrawing/banking items, or trading) because sometimes this can result in items being lost to internet gremlins.
Hang tight, hopefully this will be resolved quickly. Thanks for your patience

So one of the mines quests has you fighting the raft boss again - this time while protecting somebody! My little helper gets owned in about two hits.
Thankfully failing a quest doesn't count as a Game Over, but it's gonna be a loooong walk back to that boss.

The global bank especially, since it's something that was hacked into the game, can be temperamental when the server is having issues.SpaceBooger wrote:From the SCHTHack forums:Fragems wrote:Hoping on now.

this was probably the most frustrating quest I ever played in single player.BoneSnapDeez wrote:So one of the mines quests has you fighting the raft boss again - this time while protecting somebody! Yeah it sucks. Died again, he got hit by the orbs or whatever too many times. I think I almost had the boss killed too, which is the most frustrating part.
Ah well, at least I am leveling up with all my failed attempts.
noise, did yous play all the single player quests?

Re: Together Retro: Phantasy Star Online
Having Resta / Star Atomizers for that quest makes it a little simpler. It's easily one of the toughest. I feel like in Episode 1 & 2 for Xbox / GC the quest just has the dude passed out on the boat, so you just have to beat De Rol Le without babysitting the scientist.
