The first delay, people will be disappointed but agree that it's worth waiting.

The second delay, civilization will descend into a Mad Max world of anarchy.

In a Mad Max anarchy I could actually get to work in a reasonable amount of time; all the shitty drivers out here in Seattle would have gotten run off the road a long time ago.

I live in the Deep South. We're already in a Mad Max anarchy state. Why, just today on my way to work I fought off a gang of rollerbladers, ran down a boy and his dog, blew up a battletruck, and rescued a bunch of feral children. Shenmue 3 being delayed might actually bring some law and order around these parts.

Where are you... oh, Atlanta. Right. Explains everything. ;)

(This from a fellow Deep South resident!) :D

Life inside the perimeter is a cold and desolate experience, full of murder and mayhem.

It's actually a lot of fun.

I'll stick to my Mississippi life, thank you very much.

I was inside the perimeter early last year, and managed to escape with my life. I tested again when Frank Caliendo was in town, and well, I'm typing this, so I think I'm alive. :D

Let's be honest, the spiritual successor to Megaman has been out for awhile now:

I just... can't help but laugh at this and apparently everything Inafune touches thesedays. I'm flabbergasted that I made this thread in 2013. I guess I should remind myself and others that Inafune was basically a character designer and nothing else on some of the original Megaman's. I guess the guy was doing more behind the scenes and became a quality producer on PSX/PS2 era games that you could trust, but I'm starting to clearly not see him in the same light as Shinji Mikami or Kamiya at all, who are real game designers and seem to hold projects together better, know what they're doing, or... something.

It just really feels like Inafune's credits are perhaps a bit overblown in retrospect. Hate to rag on the guy since classic Capcom is my comfort zone and I'd argue I'm one of the biggest Megaman fans on the boards, but yeah.

If you're still programming after we descend into anarchy, I'm gonna call that true dedication.
