I'm a fan of MH3U, but I only play the 3DS version. Sold my Wii U version because I always just do local multiplayer with friends on the weekends. And The Wonderful 101 looks great. Other than that, there are some solid titles in there, even if I don't love them.

AmishSamurai wrote:That conference was hilariously bad. 30 minutes before video games are actually discussed, and then we get sports games, halo, and CoD? They seem to be catering firmly to the fratboy crowd this gen. I will definitely pass.
I stopped watching after 20 minutes just because of that.
They should've just named it milkbox. Cause that's all they're going to do.
Milk you while you're blinded by the useless gadgets.

Not liking this so much:
http://kotaku.com/you-will-be-able-to-t ... -509140825I don't mind the having to sell 'used' game codes through Microsoft's service, but the fact that I can't even bring games to friend's places or lend/borrow games is terrible. I HOPE the PS4 won't be using this sort of system.. But who knows?
Bringing a game to friend's place only to have them have to pay full price for an activation code? Not cool.

Well, I'm hoping the 360 slim gets a price cut now.

E3 is in less than a month, is it that surprising they didn't reveal any big titles?
I hardly remember any games actually being shown at the Wii-U and PS4 thing. I mean yeah, everyone knows theres going to be a new Mario and Super Smash bros, but it's not like they were actually shown.
Bayonetta 2, Pikmin, Game and Wario, Lego City, Wonderful 101, MH3U, TTT, Ninja Gaiden 3, ZombiU, Rayman Legends, Scribblenauts: U... Hardly anything... right...
Can't say I find any of those to be memorable or impressive. Which one of those are supposed to be a killer ip?
Well, ZombiU is fantastic, I can't wait for Rayman Legends (at the time exclusive) and I'd personally have traded my left testicle for Pikmin 3. I'm glad I don't have to as it shall soon be released.

I've toyed with the idea of selling my WiiU but I just remember that E3 is right around the corner, and the games likely are too.
Besides. People can complain all they want, but of the 3 new consoles, which is the one with hardware you can go buy now, and play games on now, and has a large lineup for the holidays?
I'm extremely pessimistic that Sony's PS4 or Microsoft's Xbox One will sell that well either to be frank. I think there's been a large shift in the way people consume games, and the people that are gaming in the first place.

Have you guys heard about this already?
http://kotaku.com/xbox-one-does-require-internet-connection-cant-play-o-509164109It seems that while the system doesn't have to be online at all times, it does perform regular checks for a connection.
And if it doesn't find a connection? Who knows. Probably turns into a brick until it can connect.
I think long term when it comes to new systems. I guarantee you I'll still be buying 360 and PS3 games 5 or 10 years from now. With this and the used game license purchases, it seems that won't be possible on the X1.
I'm getting kind of frustrated here fellas. I'm always excited about new games in a new generation, but I hate to think that my experience with them might be on a time limit.
Not being dramatic here, just talking.

If I were ~35-year-old, male, living in North America, with decent income, decent living room entertainment setup and internet connection, and like sports games and CoD, and have kids that play Kinect games. I'd be quite happy with Xbox One. Too bad I'm not any of those.
As European, many of the features are not available to me, or don't translate to my culture. I also wonder will Microsoft at all bother with the Japanese market this time around, doesn't look like it. I would suppose that Latin America and other such places would have issues as well.

Sure, there are some nice games in there. But I don't understand the comment that the Wii-U had this awesome line up of games that were demonstrated. Few of the games look like must buys. It's a fairly common criticism that there is quite a drought period for a real must buy for the Wii-U console.
The best game there is probably Monster Hunter which isn't even exclusive to the Wii-U, nor is it original.

This is gonna be a really hard system to buy games for a few decades from now, isn't it?
I wasn't particularly interested in the new Xbox to begin with, but that sort of practice is honestly a dealbreaker for me.
