Some recent pick-ups...
Arcanum and
Titan Quest were both about $9 each from the same Amazon seller. I think I've purchased more PAL games this year than I have in my entire life.
Cheap NES Sports Games: $1.50 each @ Goodwill. They were priced at $3 each (too much), I waited until blue tags were half-price.
Sonics Classics and
NHLPA Hockey '93 I picked up at the local retro store today. $5 for Sonic, $1 for Hockey.

Pre-owned:
- Lollipop Chainsaw - 360
- Asura's Wrath
- Ratchet and Clank Collection
- Thor God of Thunder (DS version by Wayforward)
- Jak and Daxter Collection - I mainly got this to try Jak 3 for the first time. I always hated Jak 2 and was given to believe that Jak 3 was more of the same so I avoided playing it, but I'm gonna give it a fair shot just because playing Sly Thieves in Time has really got me jonesing for another mascot platform game
I may be getting my hands on a copy of Rhythm Thief & The Emperor's Treasure as well.
New:
-Lollipop Chainsaw (360) - I got a deal on it, so yeah I have a second copy of the game. This one I'll just keep sealed and add to my very small collection of sealed games
Digital:
- Guacamelee - Just came out today so this was a day 1 purchase. So far the game is great. It's PSN's answer to XBLA's Dust An Elysian Tail(which apparently is now going to be on Steam too)
- Bentley's Hackpack - So much more fun than I expected. I thought it was some cheap DLC with more of same mini-games from Sly 4. However, this an actual game with trophies, not DLC, and the mini games have been greatly expanded upon in Bentley's Hackpack. They've put a lot of effort into the visual presentation of this game too. The animated city of the title screen is awesome and the hub like arcade where you select your games (featuring animations of the Sly Cooper characters playing different arcade cabinets) is awesome as well. So yeah, here's one more game to play for you hardcore Sly fans. It may just be a 3 dollar game, but they put some effort into it

How is Thor (NDS)? I have been thinking about picking that game up for some time.

January:
February:
March:
April:
Advance Wars (GBA)
Battalion Wars (Gamecube)
Chaos Field (Gamecube)
*NEW* Eternal Darkness (Gamecube)
*NEW* Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory (Gamecube)
Eternal Darkness I bought completely on impulse. Being a Nintendo title, it carries that infamous Nintendo Price Premium (TM) but I was able to get it for under $30, which is considered low-end for this title

Plus, who wouldn't want to check out an M-rated game from the company that brought us Mario?
Chaos Theory is the 3rd SC game and this one's so big it has 2 discs while I imagine the other console ports easily have 1

It retains connectivity with the GBA which displays a current map as you play.

1. Eternal Darkness is developed by Silicon Knights not Nintendo. Nintendo was just the publisher.
2. Eternal Darkness is the best game for the Gamecube.

Nintendo was actually really close to purchasing Silicon Knights entirely and making them into a second-party developer. Given their output in the current gen, it's probably for the best that they passed that one up.

Fixed that for ya

Eternal Darkness is awesome though, and one of the main reasons to own a GC. I wish we could get a sequel

I have had Eternal Darkness sitting on my shelf for years and haven't really played it yet. I consider myself a horror game fan too.
One of these days...

I haven't finished RE4, but I did play it and unless it gets way better after the "castle", we'll just have to agree to disagree.
