OY!

I've been lurking for a fair while now, and I've bought a few things from racketboy. This is an awesome site, and I probably should have joined it earlier. I've found a number of games I ordinarily might have missed.

My systems are
PC
modded xbox
dreamcast
saturn

Flashed PSP
Flashed DS

I've been reading this site forever, and just decided to register today. :) Favorite system is the Dreamcast (or my black Treamcast).

Y HELO THAR. I decided to register on this forum after checking this site alot last week, and I must say- this is probably one of the best sites I've been on.

Anyways, I personally own a Dreamcast, which often causes alot of disputes between me and my brother, since he hates my new found "retroism". Hopefully, he'll get over it.

Hello, there. This will be my first post here, although I've been lurking around for a couple months already. I'm a 20-year-old college student studying Electrical Engineering/Japanese in Kansas. I've played a lot of gaming systems over the years, including those in the current generation, but I enjoy retro games more since I tend to be more interested in learning where gaming has been as opposed to where it's going. I guess it's kind of like being a history buff, except the collection of knowledge is much more comprehensive and interesting since many people have seen the beginning of video games within their lifetime. It also helps that most retro gaming is cheaper than current stuff (CheapAssGamer.com for the win).

As for systems I've owned (in the order in which I received/purchased them): NES, Gameboy, Genesis, Gameboy Color, PS2, Gameboy Advance, Xbox, N64, Dreamcast, Wii, Super Nintendo, as well as smatterings of PC and DOS games throughout.

I hope to be able to contribute a lot to this community since it has been an excellent resource in the short time that I've been visiting. :)

Hey everyone! Been browsing this site for many months now and love it! I'm not much of a forum guy, but I thought I'd register to get some tips for my retro needs. :D

even though i was lurking for a bit i am now an official member. i am 30 years old and i have recently returned to video games after a 7 year absence. it began about two years ago when i was babysitting my friend's son and we were playing mario kart:double dash. i instantly got hooked and bought a gamecube the next day! here some of the other systems i own and play regularly:

xbox 360 (my gamertag is soniklife.)
sega dreamcast (x2- one for isos and one for real games.)
sega genesis (my sega cd broke not to long ago)
sega saturn (x2 one that has been modded for isos and one for real games)
super nintendo
nintendo gamecube
nes

i guess more info about me, i reside in long island, ny with my dog and a few friends. i work full time as a publicist for two independent record labels. i also happen to run my own indpendent record label and mail order called rok lok records. i also play guitar and sing in my own band called yes sensei. in addition to video games my hobbies include, comic books, music, art, history, camping and basically any outdoors activity.

i look forward to exchanging dialogue with fellow gamers here on this board!
