One, to bump up my number of posts, and two, because the Wii's Virtual Console RULES! And WiiWare's not too bad either.
I'm not going to read through it either, but I'm gonna say: I've had a Wii for nearly 2 years now, and it's just not very fun. And I discovered to my surprise that the motion sensing stuff is just an annoying gimmick. Plus, as I've said before, the VC was a big letdown compared to what was promised pre-launch. So, I'd rank today's consoles: PS3>360>Wii.

yea i have to agree the wii did quite well. And for owning both the wii and ps3 i enjoy both the console. They just complimented eachother great in terms of physical console looks and games.
The wii was fun to have around with friends at a party. The ps3 was fun to have around when your by yourself and gaming alone.

It still sucks that the graphics and resolution are shitty, but it's not a deal breaker for us retro gamers.
Agree completely.

People who think the Wii is a failure are probably 12 year olds camping in COD games thinking they are cool. These are usually the ones hovering around the 360 section picking up every FPS game and neglecting Mass Effect and Deadly Premonition.

Strange, I'm finding the motion controls to be far more tighter then a regular game controller or even dare I say a mouse and keyboard. Instant accurate control at aiming and shooting any enemy on the screen. Who would have thought combining "Lightgun" accuracy with a FPS would have worked so well!
