I don't technically have a pet, but that doesn't mean I don't have animals hanging out at my house all the time.

but seriously, cute doggie :)

We haven't even decorated the dining room yet.

Plenty of framed art once you get up the stairs, but yes, it is a boring stairway right now. I've thought about putting shadow boxes on the left wall (walking up) but then I thought about all the times I've had friends over and see them barely make it down the stairs without incident.

That, and my gameroom will be getting a facelift soon. Right now it's an art deco game room, with a ton of video games that don't fit the mold. I'm seriously thinking about boxing up the games and consoles, and going straight art deco.

Perhaps instead of boxing up, stick them in some art deco cabinet type things?

So I had a lot of time on my hands today and was super stressed out. I figured I'd spend some relaxing time just chilling with my little buddies.

This is their first time having a banana. The third Ghost was camera shy, but enjoyed it the most. He had his entire face shoved in the side of the banana. The female always seems to lay down when she eats. O.o

I wouldn't say they stink no. They have their own distinct smell, but it's pretty faint, and I like it... ^^

I think dogs are different. Wet dog smell can be horrible and very overpowering.

I'm pretty sure your dog only smells funky when her skin is greasy though. If that happens, just put her -you're talking about Nina right?- in the shower and wash her with baby shampoo. Don't forget to clean her nails too. If she is anything like my cats, her nails will have a thick dark layer of grease on them. You can scratch it away -beware the heavy cheese smell while doing so- or soak her paws in soapy water for a few minutes to remove it more easily...

If she still smells bad right after a bath, check her anal glands. Sometimes they get clogged which can cause infections and produce a very foul smell. If that's the case, simply empty them...

Yeah, nothing pleasant about that. Pretty much every Dachshund that we have ever owned needed their glands drained at least twice a year.

This makes me glad I keep bugs as pets...

Although... I do want a sphinx. They're just too damn expensive. :(
