Agreed that change happens slowly, but in the US at least there's been no change whatsoever on gun safety. The NRA and other gun lobbies are absurdly powerful and make sure of that.
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!

Oh, I absolutely agree and understand that there is so much objection in any way shape or form from very powerful people to keep any physical change from happening. There is also the lateral way of thinking that is unobstructed, yet still nothing is done about it and that is the treatment of mental illness for those more horrific moments.

Regardless of the case, mass destruction can happen without a gun and that is the most important thing that needs to change. Social outlook is a huge priority for me in how people behave and in how people view the world outside of themselves and social change is a war that you will never see the end of in your lifetime, but is a fight worth fighting.

:D Thanks guys!

:D Finally moved into my apartment and I'm no longer homeless. It's really nice to have a place I can come back to and call my own instead of worrying if I'm going to be able to find a sofa to sleep on.

:( Despite doing some really awesome work for my boyfriend yesterday, I started feeling really insecure and bad about myself. Lots of mood swings and broke down. In the end though he was able to make me feel better, which I honestly didn't think he was going to be able to do. :D Change is rough yo.

For anyone legitimately interested in seeing some creepy crawlies, now that I have my own place, I have some really awesome "pets" to take pictures of in the near future.

When I was a kid I wanted various pets that my mom would have no part of, such as spiders and snakes. I shall live vicariously through yours.

I plan on getting Idolomantis diabolica and Hymenopus coronatus for my next mantid species, and I'm going to start keeping some sort of Amblypygi species. Also thinking about some pretty beetles.

:D Skullgirls on Linux! I've been playing most of the day.

:D Haircut! Long overdue to get my hair styled.

:) Boyfriend is working at Rodriguez/Troublemaker Studios. Small gig, but it's keeping him preoccupied. He surprised me with a visit after my haircut though.

:( Found two chairs just chilling by the road. Grabbed them and brought them inside. While my boyfriend was parking a guy asked if he had seen the chairs. Ended up giving them back, but he let me keep one.

Betrayal of the highest sort. Moving a chair from the curb into an apartment is a bond for life.
