Long story short:
A friend of mine is a headliner in the comedy circuit in Las Vegas. Super nice, super funny, super great guy.

Years ago he filmed a storm that ended up heavily edited, but nonetheless on the Weather channel (unedited version):

The edited version from the Weather channel should be linked to it as well.

His new promo advert touts "As seen on HBO, ABC, NBC, CBS, and Comedy Central" so I asked why did the Weather channel get snubbed?

So we joked about Mitch Hedberg's "I saw you at the air port" joke, and then we started joking about how great an entrance of "You may have seen him on HBO, or on the Weather Channel" would be (trust me, this is a premise, not the joke).

And for openers for an interview, someone asking him "You were on the Weather Channel?" opens the door wide open for jokes upon jokes. And I'll tell you, almost every time I speak with this guy I laugh so hard that I wake up with a sore stomach.

Yay, Jinx came back! I'm glad to hear you feel much better about yourself despite the hard times :D

My :D of the day: I called the French academy and they selected me for the B1 group, which is a whole level higher than I expected! I'm going to try to get a refresher before class, but the idea of being able to attain such a high level by the end of the year is incredibly exciting :D

:? : Work has been slow recently. Seems like the other subs are getting all the hours while I get snubbed except on shit days that nobody wants or on extreme occasions where noone is available.

:x : Got a text Monday asking me to run the short route on Friday which is 3 hours but I'll take whatever I can get so I confirmed with the boss. However when I got there this morning here comes another sub who got a call that morning telling her to come in so we go in and sure enough he sent me a text which I hadn't even received yet saying there was a change of plans and he didn't need me. Needless to say I'm getting pretty ticked about this since while they do need the cash as well my life isn't all butterflies and rainbows either so when they are working 20+ hours a week as compared to my 8 it kind of ticks me off especially when they take my work right out from under me.

:) : One of the other carriers recognizing the bullshit decided to take a day off so that my coming in wasn't a complete waste of time. However the sub that got called in got an 8 hour route instead of a 3 so she still came out ahead :P.

:( I care too much and I sure to get my blood boiling sometimes. The gun control topic really upsets me and the whole world seems to think that you can snap your fingers and everyone's guns just disappear in the united states. We are a short sighted lot and it pains me to see people erupt into outrage and never understand the ramifications for reckless actions.

Changes happens slowly and must be a cultural and social change for it to take hold. You need to change the world, one person at a time.
