I might've mentioned it about 100 pages ago and don't remember, but I think COD is actually underrated now. Not saying it's original anymore but I think if people didn't know how many million units it sold and how 'mainstream' it was and just played it with no prior knowledge they'd say it's well above average.

I mean really, what shooter is out there now (besides the very recent Titanfall) that is as good of a multiplayer experience and has a big enough community that you can always find a game? Halo 4 was probably the biggest disappointment in gaming I've had in a long time. What else is there?

Team Fortress 2 is still incredibly popular as is Counter-Strike. You can also easily find games of Quake Live and Warsow. I think all of those games are better than CoD.

It's not _bad_ but it's not the only good game out there!

Sure, if you bring PC into it it's a completely different story. Right or wrong I usually speak in reference to consoles specifically.

Ugh, Warsow. As much as I wish I could like this game, it feels like there is a delay any time I pull the trigger, and it just ruins the experience!

Also, I enjoy CoD. That Stalingrad level was amazing! And I have spent way too much time looking through the scope of a Kar98k in Pavlov.

I am playing through Shadows of the Colossus now for the first time (on PS2) and while I am having fun and I think the game is good, I do feel the game is a bit overrated.

The controls just....well, "suck" is probably too strong of a word but it's close. The framerate is bad on the boss fights, but I don't let this bother me too much considering I am playing it on an older system.

I just beat the 5th Colossus last night, so maybe my opinion will change after I defeat them all. But unless the controls suddenly get 10x better, I don't see that happening.
