People love having something to complain about.

Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
Nintendo has gotten out of touch with the market. Do they honestly expect us to use the A button to jump in a Mario game? They have clung to the old ways, it is time to embrace the real market. Mario needs more cutscenes, more quick time events and on-line deathmatch.ZenErik wrote:People love having something to complain about.
People do love to complain. They love to hate. People seem to think it is fun. They love to be right and love to hurt people to prove it. It is the internet and it is a sad place.

If they released some more traditional Mario games that would be great.. So far, not too many.. But should be a good year library wise for the Wii U..

I am one of the people who are sick of Mario titles, but if others enjoy them the world is big enough for all of us. What I would like to know is why the Nintendo IPs were so successful with the Wii but the Wii U is facing such a difficult time?
My only guess is that the last of the Nintendo generation bought their final Nintendo console around 2006 (1986->2006= 20 years) and by 2012 , they might have just grown too old for it? Not everyone but I guess a big chunk. After all, Nintendo IPs are about the only IPs from the 80's that are supposed to be system sellers . Most of the system seller IPs today are 2000 ones like Call of Duty, Halos, God of War,GTA, Gears of War, Assassin Creed, Mass Effect, ... etc.
Just a theory...

Pretty sure the last 20-30 pages of this thread are just us answering his questions over and over and him blatantly ignoring them endlessly.

Well, if you want to see what Nintendo higher-ups think (or were coached to say, I dunno), you can read that here.RCBH928 wrote:I am one of the people who are sick of Mario titles, but if others enjoy them the world is big enough for all of us. Also, question 5 lends a teensy bit of credibility to the Fusion rumor. Not for the specs itself, but it would seem Nintendo is looking to make a unified OS or API between home and portable systems (at least), if not a single device covering both.
