I know that.

If I drop out, the amount of hellfire and bullshit that will rain down on me will never, ever end. Evvveeer.

That's the thing- I have that. I want something with a little bit of looks, that's interesting. Otherwise, I'd be driving a POS of some kind right now.

To his credit, I did read that she absolutely would not stop talking about how "the sky is falling" or some other such nonsense...

My in-laws have raised chickens for at least seven years now, and during that time, the following animals have killed some of them: badgers. cats, dogs, foxes, hawks, owls, weasels, and other chickens(!). (They have also had a few slaughtered for meat...so, I guess you could also add humans to that list.) They haven't yet lost one to an eagle, but it is probably just a matter of time...

You'rs supposed to be totally broke when you are in college, and you are supposed to have a total beater for a car. If you don't, you are really missing part of the experience. (Also, it is much, much, much better to have a college education than a car. Having the eductation will allow you to buy pretty much whatever you want a few years down the road.)

Depending on what style you like there are some "different" and/or flashy cars in that range as well. The only thing is most of it's going to need work and/or has high mileage.

I like hatchbacks

I'm a few years down the road. How many more years do I need to go before I can buy pretty much whatever I want?

I said "pretty much." I have seven years of post-graduate education; I have been working for about eight years; but I still don't have that Aston Martin!

How about...a Honda Accord, three new suits, and a trip to New England? Will that work?

I like where this is going.

Buy a used Nissan Altima, four new suits, and a trip to Asheville NC.

So I am off to borrow/buy a pole saw to trim it down so I can cut it with the chain saw. I am hesitant to leave it there until the weekend since if it falls it will crack the foundation of the house.
I went to three shops yesterday: Homedepot, Lowes, and Walmart, everyone was sold out of pole saws. So I did what any southerner would do, I cut the tree down with the tools I had on hand. Two hours with loppers, a reciprocating saw, and a cart, and 90% of the tree is down, trimmed, and stacked for burning this fall. There is a five foot stump sticking up in front of my house until Saturday when I can get a chainsaw from the farm. Though I will try to cut it down tonight with my handsaw. Best of all, only one bush got hurt in the process - I didnt like that bush anyway.
