Playstation Vita thread
Re: Playstation Vita thread
Awesome news! Is there any news on the Europe release and whether we get htoL#NiQ: The Firefly Diary too?
Edit: Oh ok, some there's mixed messages. Some sites are saying there is no word yet on a physical European edition, but that there it is definitely getting a digital release. Whilst other sites are saying the game is getting a physical release in Europe too. Weird.

Re: Playstation Vita thread
Just picked up used Vita a week or so ago. I wish I would have picked one up sooner haha!
I was really wanting the first edition Vita (the one with the OLED screen) and luckily my local game store just got one in. Gathered some trade together and ended up getting without spending anything. I already had a Vita TV (got it for $20 bucks on a price match) so I had the Vita memory card and picked up Persona 4 when it was $10 bucks along with two PS One Classics: Tron Bonne and Vanguard Bandits.
I really like this system. I had a 3DS for a while and even though I enjoyed it, every indie game I would liked to play was being released on the Vita. And the aforementioned PS One Classics. I am pretty stocked to get Axiom Verge and Hyper Light Drifter (when it's released) on a handheld as I feel like they will play better on a handheld instead of a my PS4. I also have games like Spelunky and Ollie Ollie 2 that I also believe would be better on a handheld as far as a gaming experience.
What I'm most impressed with is how well the PS One games play on it. They look great and it feels like the system was built for those games. My only gripe is the L2/R2 being mapped to the touchpad. I did put them at the bottom which was more comfortable to use, but sometimes they are a bit less responsive than I like. Thanks for the heads up on the L2/R2 trigger adapter. I may have to get one of those, but I'll give it a bit longer. I know I'll be buying a lot of PS One era RPGs to play even if I own a physical copy of them. One of the main reasons I wanted one was for the ability to download RPGs and play them on the go. They just run very smooth and, again, look great.
Overall, I'm really happy with it. Glad I got the OLED screen because it looks fantastic.

You made the right decision. Comparing OLED and LCD Vitas in real life, assured me I'd made the right decision when I'd bought my OLED Vita years back. For once early adopters didn't get the short stick.AaronC wrote:Glad I got the OLED screen because it looks fantastic.

Re: Playstation Vita thread
Looks like it comes with God Eater Resurrection as well.
I'm surprised once again by the Vita I think I just saw like a hand full of new announcements (maybe more), such a clutch system and as a Vita (really PSTV) owner it's really fun and satisfying when you see another game squeezing out especially since their so niche such a pleasure

Unfortunately, I'm having to be a little pickier with what I pre-order. I'm trying to tuck away some money since I've got PS VR pre-ordered.

Re: Playstation Vita thread

File this under "things Ex did not expect", but GalGun: Double Peace will be getting a physical USA release on July 19, 2016 for Vita.
At this point it's just a race to see how many waifu games I can collect for this damn thing.

Re: Playstation Vita thread
Gal Gun looks so silly that I'm probably going to pre-order it
Also I remember reading that if this one does well, we might also get others in the series. Can't remember who said that or where I saw that though, so I could be wrong on that
