Ticked: only made it two months without spending new money on my video game addiction, not the 3ish I was hoping for. Dave, as agreed upon, you may mock me relentlessly.

Smile: it's because I scooped an xrgb mini framemeister at approximately 35-40% off. I've been thinking about it forever, and that's just a steal I could not pass up. Gotta see if it really can make LCD look as good as crt. I figure if it does, I can dump my monster Trinitron and go to a smaller tube in case I want light gun games. And if it doesn't, I can always get my money back on it without even trying.
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed
Chronically out of date BST thread

Ticked - lighting struck my neighbors house yesterday and somehow blew the pool system. Pump is ok, but the salt system is shot. Quick estimate online is 1k if I do it myself and have no issues, getting a quote from the nearby pool shop today. PCB for the brain is charred.

Smile: Went to Led Zepplelin 2 & Aussie Pink Floyd last night. My dad snagged tickets because he saw them before for The Wall Tour in 2009. I didn't know what to expect from two cover bands, other than I'd never see either Led Zeppelin or Pink Floyd live in my lifetime. They put on a great show and had great sets. My mom, dad, wife, and I all had a great time.

That blows, chief. Sorry to hear about this. You've been working on that pool for a while now.

:D Responded to this post on Willam Belli's Facebook with:
Some people. If I wasn't such a fucking sweetheart I'd just say fuck it all and become a misanthrope. But my heart's too sweet for that, and I just love the tooth-melting little fucker. But seriously there are people who work two jobs and live in abject poverty and this asshole blows 55g's to kill a lion? Karma's gonna ream him with a red-hot fireplace poker sideways for that shit.
And in less than 48 hours already got 56 likes and two responses.

Can't I just have one?

I'd even allow you to write me a thank you note on the cover.

I also smell a charity auction item!!!
