Frown: I turned a Denis Savard game used and signed stick into a curtain hanger for my game room.
Smile: My wife hates it.
Frown: Well, it is my game room.
Smile: Mixing up my smiles with frowns. Typos can be fun*.
*"I was writing my Dad a note, and wanted to write 'Dad I really miss you', but wrote 'Dad I rarely'. I didn't want to start over so I wrote 'Dad I rarely drive steamboats. I am not a steamboat operator. There's a lot of shit you don't know about me". - Mitch Hedberg
Lesson: Keep your typos, as they can be hilarious.

This is my fifth consulting jorb, and all of them have been bliss. My only issue is figuring out if this business as an entirety is sustainable in a competitive environment. I'd be happy to consult a furniture company, but I don't see a long time career in it. I overthink things.Exhuminator wrote:Pursue it. Frown: No shout out to Racketboy. And after everything we've done for you!
I think I mentioned a few racketeers in the acknowledgement, but no - I didn't mention the site specifically.

There were two or three individuals who I specifically chatted about the book with or who I bounced ideas off of, etc. I think I gave props to Nick, Noise, and John, specifically. Each of them helped me in some form or fashion with some specific things related to the planning and execution of the project.Luke wrote:Comeuppance?dsheinem wrote: I think I mentioned a few racketeers in the acknowledgement.

I haven't really read much yet; mostly skimmed it looking for Racketboy references. I've got a lot of unread books that I purchased on a spree over the past few months so I don't know when I'll get to it.dsheinem wrote:Woah, you got yer copy?! Awesome.
